[4 June 2014, CITY A.M.]The unemployment rate in the Eurozone dropped to its lowest level in a year and a half in April, according to figures published in Brussels yesterday.

The proportion of the labour force out of work and seeking employment fell to 11.7 per cent, from 11.8 per cent in March. The rate has slowly declined since a recent peak of 12.2 per cent at the end of summer last year.
