[24 June 2014, Tax-News.com] By Ulrika Lomas, Tax-News.com, Brussels: The Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (FEB) has called on the next Government to deliver on the outgoing Government’s pledge to reduce charges on businesses by EUR1.9bn. The group claims that administrative costs have fallen by just EUR380m, and the slight improvement has not been evenly distributed among businesses. In its recent survey of 650 businesses, FEB found that 90 percent considered administrative costs to have risen significantly, while over half estimated that charges have risen by between 20 and 50 percent over the last 15 years.
